Remember Mr. Potato Head?
Enjoy a baked potato with all the fixin's at the Hospitality
Committee's next event at the Ramada on Tuesday,
March 15, starting
at 4:30 p.m. The menu will feature
a baked potato and toppings to include: chili without beans,
shredded cheddar cheese, heated nacho cheese sauce, steamed
broccoli, bacon, butter, sour cream, chives, diced sweet
onion and Frito's. There will also be a big Caesar salad,
beer, wine, a special punch, water and soft drinks, all for
the low price of $5.00. Jim Copeland and
Terry Shay will
donate hand crafted mesquite items (clocks, serving boards
and lazy susans) for a raffle to benefit renovations to the
Ramada kitchen. This will be the last raffle of the season,
so buy plenty of tickets. In addition, they will have one
premium item, a 30 inch side table which Terry will auction
off.

March Board Meeting
The EEHOA regular Board meeting will be held on Monday,
March 21, at 1:00 p.m. in the Ramada.

Like to Garden?
The EE Gardeners will meet today,
at 1:00 p.m. at
the Ramada to discuss future plans and activities. New members
and ideas are always welcome. If you are interested in learning
about gardening in Arizona, this is a great way to get hands on
experience while helping to make EE beautiful.

The Forgotten Genius of Bletchley Park
The Ellingsons will
show the BBC documentary about the life of Gordon Welchman who
worked on Britain's code-breaking project at Bletchley Park, the
code-breaking center in England during WWII.

Aqua Exercise Schedule Change
Lovely Linda's (Linda Sielken) Aqua Exercise
has been rescheduled this week. The group will meet at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, March 16th
rather than on the posted date.

Attention Artisans
At the meeting on Thursday (1:00 p.m. at the Ramada), the group
will discuss plans to take the Tubac open studio tour that runs
from March 18- 20, 10:00-4:00 p.m. Car pooling arrangements will
be discussed. If you are interested in taking the tour, but
won't be able to attend the meeting on Thursday, contact Barbara Copeland.

Household Hazardous Waste Event
GVC's annual HHW Event is coming up on Saturday, March 19,
from 8:00 a.m. to noon in the parking lot of
Valley Presbyterian Church on Camino del Sol. Please help reduce
the number of cars by combining items from several households.
If you are disposing of meds, please dump them out of the bottle

EE Author to Speak at Joyner
Donna Dailey is
a journalist and author of numerous travel guides and
inspirational travel books. Donna will talk about the life of a
travel writer at the Santa Cruz Valley Chapter of the Southwest
Authors Society's meeting at the Green Valley Library on Monday,
April 4 at 1:00 p.m. The talk is free and open to the public.

In Memoriam
We are very saddened to report the loss of two Esperanza
residents this week. John Meek (Circulo del Sur) passed away on
March 10 and Jerry Allen (S Circulo Napa) on March 13. Our
condolences to their families and friends.
